I’ve been thinking about buying a new computer for a few months now, but I must confess I’m still undecided. Netbooks are the trend, and sure, it’s really practical : they’re small, mobile, you can take it with you everywhere, they have all the multimedia advantages of a PC, and you can work online from almost anywhere in the world.
The reason I haven’t decided anything yet is that if I wait a bit longer, I could enjoy new and thin ultraportable laptops that are supposed to be hitting stores later this year, as HP, Lenovo and Dell announced. For example, Dell has just added 13” and 14” computers to its « Studio » and « Inspiron » line. They’re certainly a bit heavier, but clearly more competitive, and a lot less expensive than other ultraportable laptops.
A difficult choice to make between competitivity or mobility. Have you made up your mind yet ?
