Trzenieswki has a place in the history of Vienna alongside the Balls and the Prater. Franz Kafka was a next door neighbour and used to come to Trzenieswki for sandwiches and a beer. It’s a tiny place with only six or severn tables and a long line of people waiting to be served. Since 1902 locals and tourists alike enjoy the famous finger sandwiches. The restaurant offers 18 different kind of flavours ranging from Wild Paprika, lobster, egg, onion, salami to cream cheese.
Each piece costs 90 cents and let’s be honest it is very hard to resist ordering several. Don’t forget either to order a Pfiff, the local beer, probably as famous as the Trzenieswki sandwiches themselves.
Who said snacks are necessarily bad ? Trzenieswki is a perfect stop to grab a (delicious) bite.

The Suite advisor box has been available for about 15 days and it’s been very successful with more than 50 opinions left online by guests. All the Suitehotels have good grades but the highest marks go to the Vienna Suitehotel with an astonishing 10/10 average. Geneva is not far behind with a nice 9/10 grade. From what I read guests like to comment on the state of the suites, the reception, breakfasts or the prices of drinks at the bar.
