Two minutes away from Postdamer Platz, 5 minutes away from the Neue Nationalgalerie and the Berlin Philharmoniker (famous for its conductors, Karajan, Abbado and Rattle) Berlin Suitehotel gives you the opportunity to discover Berlin and its secrets.
For the entire summer, a 30 sqm suite could be yours for a starting price of 71 euros. As usual in the Suitehotels, you’ll have access to a free camera and Smart car. Just ask the Berlin Suitehotel team for more informations once you get there.

Maybe you’ll be more lucky with the weather than I was for Easter. It snowed almost the entire week-end. I long to discover Berlin under a bright (and warm) sun.

Bravo Berlin

Last weekend I visited some close friends in Berlin and I thought I would share with you one of the place I visited. We went to the KW Institute for Contemporary Art in the Mitte District. The place used to be a margarine factory back in the days but in 1990 it was converted into an exhibition space.

Even if you are not visiting the studio you can have a drink or eat lunch at Cafe Bravo, which is located in the peaceful courtyard. Cafe Bravo is a small modern cube, with Sixties Looking rounded tables and transparent walls overlooking the garden. The building was created by Dan Graham, an American architect. A good selection of magazines is available from a display at the entrance and wireless internet is free of charge.

If you want to meet Berliners and get a glimpse of the cultural changes happening in the city since the fall of the Wall, KW is probably one of the places to be. Artists and families alike are enjoying sipping their Mocha-Baileys or a generous piece of New York cheesecake on a quiet day. Sundays are more lively with Djs and cocktails.

If the weather is warm enough you can always sit outside to enjoy the sun. We had no chance to really appreciate the garden as it kept raining and snowing and raining some more. But we will come back soon. It’s a promise!
