“I give it a 5.8 or a 5.9. That somersault was pretty impressive in FIS-Suitejump standards”.

That’s probably what an international panel of judges would have said while watching us last Tuesday. Yes, some of the jumps weren’t that terrific (mine for example) and some failed completely, but none lacked in enthusiasm that’s for sure!

But I fear that I’m being too cryptic so let me explain what happened last Tuesday.

A few of us were invited at the Paris-Stade de France Suitehotel to experience a Suitejump session. The staff and Ahmed, the manager, kindly greeted us with champagne, drinks and food.

But everybody’s attention was focused on the main suite, re-arranged for the occasion with a full photo studio and a costume rack.

You could hear roars of laughter as people were choosing their disguise and deciding with Julien, the photographer, in which position they would jump. The atmosphere was relaxed and customers from the Suitehotel joined us in the fun. The whole group got really excited at the idea of winning the challenge. The goal is to be voted the best Suitejump picture on mysuiteblog.com in order to win an outstanding prize from Suitehotel (aka a Grand Week-End package at a destination of your choice).
