This was the question on our lips at the turn of 2009 and we gave the matter a great deal of thought, our customers providing us with help along the way. I would like to take this opportunity to thank these customers for their assistance and expertise.
The overwhelming response to this question was “YES”: our customers probably should be helping to save their company money in times of crisis. “YES” indeed, but what about them? Those who spend around 100 nights in a hotel every year, who take planes, trains and taxis in the same way that others take the elevator to their office; those who face potential problems on a daily basis as the crisis unfolds, with some developments being more damaging than others; those who, although they are on the move, are just as susceptible to the pressure as their company; those who are constantly expected to produce better results than the previous year in a climate that clearly will not permit this. It is to these people that we decided we could lend a helping hand by contributing to their personal well-being outside our hotels.
That’s why we launched the forfait anti-crise this year, a brand-new package aimed at reducing company costs (fourth night free*) and also treating those who make the purchase to a EUR 30 gift check* for Accor Thalassa every time they stay.
This offer was to run from the start of May through July 10. Due to its resounding success, we have decided to re-run the offer from September through December 11. I hope that all those who have taken or are yet to take advantage of this package make the most of this “me time” at Accor Thalassa, whom I would also like to thank for allowing us to offer these gift checks.
